Kampala, Uganda- 20th May 2026 – Quality Chemical Industries Limited (Qcil), Uganda’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, has today announced the launch of Hydroxyurea, a life-saving medication used in the management of Sickle Cell Disease (SCD). This initiative marks a significant milestone in improving access to affordable and effective treatment for thousands of Ugandans affected by the condition.
