KAMPALA, UGANDA – Quality Chemical Industries Limited (Qcil) has conducted a large-scale community medical camp at Lubaga Cathedral to commemorate World Malaria Day, reinforcing its purpose of delivering “Life after well” by bringing essential healthcare services closer to the people who need them most.
Held under the global theme “Driven to End Malaria: Now We Can. Now We Must.”, the medical camp addressed the ongoing burden of malaria in Uganda, which remains one of the leading causes of illness and mortality, with over 13 million cases and 16,204 deaths recorded in 2024.
Beyond treatment, the medical camp was a direct expression of Qcil’s belief in “Life after well”, a commitment that goes beyond curing disease to enabling healthier, more productive lives for individuals and communities. By providing access to preventive care, early diagnosis, and malaria prevention-specific health education, Qcil helped communities move beyond illness toward sustained well-being and dignity.
“This initiative reflects what ‘Life after well’ truly means for us, life lived well without pain and suffering through awareness, prevention and bringing service close to where it matters the most,” said Ajay Kumar Pal, CEO of Qcil. “Our purpose as a company goes far beyond manufacturing medicines. It is about ensuring that people not only recover from illness but are empowered to live healthier, fuller lives.”

The medical camp aligns with Qcil’s core mission, built on the pillars of Availability, Affordability, and Accessibility, ensuring that no individual is denied life-saving care due to cost or location.
